Delta Sigs Elected to Interfraternity Council!

  On Monday November 11th, two members of the Beta Nu chapter were elected to Fresno State’s Interfraternity Council! Current chapter President David Ortiz (Spring 2010) was elected as IFC Vice President for 2012. David will be responsible for judicial proceedings, risk management activities and training, as well as working to make the Fresno State Greek community safer. Roy Oneto (Fall 2010) was elected as Scholarship Director for 2012. Roy will be working to raise the IFC cumulative GPA beyond the All Campus Average by establishing best practices of the chapters who perform well and using those policies to aid the chapters that are struggling.

This is a major accomplishment for the chapter as it demonstrates Beta Nu’s commitment to developing strong leaders in order to become the Leading Fraternity on Fresno State’s campus as well as participating in strengthening Delta Sigma Phi nationally to become America’s Leading Fraternity!
